Phoenix, AZ · at the foot of Camelback Mountain

A private estate that never stopped being one.

Built in 1929 as a Spanish-Colonial winter residence, and still laid out the way a house is: courtyards, citrus, and nine acres you walk rather than drive.

Before you book

The questions guests ask.

How far is the resort from the airport?

About fifteen minutes from Phoenix Sky Harbor, and roughly the same to Old Town Scottsdale. It sits on Camelback Road in the Arcadia corridor, which is why it feels further from the city than it is.

Is the spa open to non-residents?

Alvadora Spa takes bookings from outside the resort as well as from guests. Resort guests receive a discount on the spa boutique.

Can you host a wedding or a conference?

Nine acres and 20,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space, with award-winning catering. The courtyards were built for gatherings, which is what makes them work for events ninety years later.

What is included with a resort stay?

The 24-hour gym and fitness classes, morning coffee service, and 10% off the Alvadora Spa boutique, among other elements.
